What should I do if my luggage is delayed?

In case of late delivery of your luggage, before you leave the airport, file a claim with the airline and keep a copy of the report. Also, contact your insurance provider and communicate the situation with them. If your baggage or personal items are delayed for 8 hours or more, trip cancellation and interruption coverage offered by Allianz Global Assistance may provide reimbursement for reasonable and necessary toiletries and clothing up to $400.00 Canadian Dollars. Keep the original purchase invoices for necessities as you will need them when making a claim for the reimbursement for such costs.
