It is also advisable that you contact your insurance provider and share the situation with them. The trip cancellation and interruption coverage offered by Allianz Global Assistance may reimburse you up to $1,000 Canadian Dollars for loss or damage of owned or borrowed baggage including personal effects usually carried by you.
